Discount Cards Starting Soon!!

Okay, this is important!!! We are starting our BIG fundraiser for the year in two weeks. Information and permission slips should be coming home with your child on Friday so make sure you get it. We will be selling discount cards and have some great ideas on how to spend the money. We are currently looking at some shade structures for the new playground area and Elmos (super high tech projectors) for the classrooms that currently have interwrite boards. These are some large purchases that will make a huge difference around the school and we need your help to make it happen. I will post more as we get closer but make sure you get that information packet from your child and let me know if you have any questions!!

Boulder Bash Fun

Boulder Bash was a blast this year. It was our best year in recent history in regards to profit and loss and we were able to give back $4,000 to the classrooms from the tickets they earned. There were some great costumes and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the parent volunteers who made this event possible. I know the teachers, administration and myself are continually amazed by your generosity of your time and your efforts to make this school the best. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you!

Ducky Derby Lunch & Movie

These amazing kids were a huge part of Boulder Creek's success in Ducky Derby this year. Our school raised $13,935! The county as a whole was down 10% in sales and we were up by almost 40%, which tells you how awesome we are! The top sellers from each class got to go to lunch and a movie with Mr. Porter and they had a blast. It is so rewarding to see our students celebrating their successes! Thank you to everyone who sold ducks this year. Next year I think we can hit at least $18,000...

Blogs anyone?

I have to start this blog by letting everyone know that I don't blog! Not sure how this whole thing will work out... :) That being said, what a great, free way to keep our parents and staff up to date on what is happening, share successes, and post fun pictures from our events. I fully commit to keeping this as updated as I can (yes, I just managed to commit to nothing specific) and keeping it fun! I want Boosters to be something that parents enjoy, look forward to being involved in and something that benefits everyone at our school. I want to hear your ideas, comments, and feelings on what is happening in the club and around the school.
